This song sung by Christina Perry is not only beautiful and haunting, it has the power to transport one to a different place and time where love is Forever … Eternal. And age old love stories are written in books that are stained with the elements of time.

This mixed media necklace combines leather, metal, stained lace, stained paper, rusted mesh, clay and paint. It also has a vintage barrel key and blood red Garnet attached to the end of a 14 inch chain extension which you can wear it in the front.

This piece took me many hours to construct as each page is lovingly burned by incense and fashioned in a way that the burned hole in the middle of the page tapers towards a blood red heart. I have also included little features like miniature music notes, miniature love letters and miniature dictionary excerpts in between the stained blank pages.

* The mini book measures 40 mm x 30 mm, with a thickness of 20 mm
* The necklace is approximately 17 inches with a 14 inch extension which is a feature on its own
